Questions people ask first
Do I need a card to start?
No. You get 14 days of Basic with every Basic feature switched on. If you do nothing after that, you move to the Free plan.
How do my customers pay me?
You connect your own Stripe account and your invoices get a Pay now button. The money goes straight to your Stripe account. Koteshen doesn't hold it or take a percentage, though Stripe's own fees apply.
Do my customers need an account?
No. They open the link in your email, look at the quote or invoice, and accept or pay.
Can I use it from my phone?
Yes. It works in your phone's browser, and the invoice and quote forms are built for small screens. There's nothing to install.
What happens to my invoices if I stay on the Free plan?
They stay. The Free plan has lower monthly limits on new invoices and quotes, and on how many customers you can keep, and you can upgrade whenever you need more.
Does it handle sales tax?
You can add the tax rates you charge and set a default. Each invoice shows the tax it adds. Koteshen doesn't file or remit tax for you.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes, from your billing settings. You move to the Free plan and keep your data.
I just need one invoice. Do I have to sign up?
No. The free invoice template makes a PDF with no account. Invoices made there are deleted 30 days after you last open them.
