Questions about quotes
Is this quote template really free?
Yes. You can make as many quotes as you like, and download each one as a PDF.
What should a quote include?
Your business name and contact details, who it's for, a quote number, the date and how long the price holds, each line of work with its price, and the total. Use Notes to say what's included, what isn't, and whether the price can change.
What's the difference between a quote and an estimate?
A quote is usually a fixed price and an estimate an approximate one, but many businesses use the words interchangeably. Say in the Notes box whether the price can change, and check your state's rules for your trade.
What's the difference between this and Koteshen?
This makes one PDF at a time. In Koteshen you email the quote, your customer accepts it online with a click, you can ask for a deposit when they do (Basic plan and up), and you can turn it into an invoice. It's free for 14 days with no card.
