What to put on a concrete estimate
Give the dimensions and the thickness
"Patio slab, 14 x 16 ft, 4 in thick" is the number the customer agrees to, and the one to check if a measurement is ever questioned.
List the prep
Excavation, base material, forms and reinforcement are a lot of the work, and none of it is visible afterwards.
Name the finish
Broom finish, stamped or exposed aggregate. The finish changes the price and the look, so it belongs in the description.
Line items concrete contractors often use

Tired of rebuilding the same estimate?
In Koteshen your customer accepts the concrete estimate (a quote there) online, and you can ask for a deposit when they do (Basic plan and up). After the pour, the balance goes out as an invoice with a card payment button.

Questions about concrete estimates
What affects the price on the day?
Access, soil, slope and weather can all change the work. Say in the Notes box which ones the price assumes, and that you will tell the customer if they turn out different.
How do I word the warranty?
Concrete can crack even when it is poured well, so say in plain words in the Notes box what your workmanship warranty covers and what it does not.
Do I charge sales tax on a concrete estimate?
It depends on your state and on whether you are selling labor, materials or both. Check with your state's tax agency or your accountant. This generator doesn't calculate tax, so add it as its own line if you plan to charge it.
