What to put on a landscaping estimate
Spell out the units
"Mulch, 6 cubic yards" or "Mowing, per visit". The quantity and the unit let the customer check the maths.
Say what the price assumes
Access to the site, the current state of the lawn, and whether you haul away the debris. Put it in the Notes box.
Split materials from labor on bigger projects
Plant, stone and soil prices can change before you buy them. Showing them separately makes it easy to explain if they do.

Can I use one estimate for a season of mowing?
Yes. Put the price per visit and the number of visits in the line, and the season dates in the Notes box.
What if weather delays the job?
Say in the Notes box how delays are handled, for example that the work is rescheduled and the price stays the same.
Do I charge sales tax on a landscaping estimate?
It depends on your state and on whether you are selling labor, materials or both. Check with your state's tax agency or your accountant. This generator doesn't calculate tax, so add it as its own line if you plan to charge it.
