What to put on a concrete invoice
Give the size and the thickness
"Driveway slab, 20 x 24 ft, 4 in thick" is the number the customer agreed to, and the one to check if a measurement is ever questioned.
Show the prep work
Excavation, base and forming are most of the work and none of it is visible afterwards. A line for each shows where the time went.
Name the finish
Broom finish, stamped or exposed aggregate. The finish changes the price and the look, so it belongs in the line description.
Line items concrete contractors often use

Tired of rebuilding the same invoice?
In Koteshen you can ask for a deposit when your customer accepts your concrete estimate (Basic plan and up), then invoice the balance after the pour, with a card payment button.

Questions about concrete invoices
Should I charge by the square foot or by the cubic yard?
Either works, and many contractors use square feet for the job and cubic yards for their own costs. The invoice should match how you quoted.
What do I say about cracks and curing?
Use the Notes box to explain curing and what your workmanship warranty does and doesn't cover, in plain words.
Do I charge sales tax on concrete work?
It depends on your state and on whether you're selling labor, materials or both. Check with your state's tax agency or your accountant. This generator doesn't calculate tax, so add it as its own line if you charge it.
